Information you send us

The offer form asks for your name, phone number, a description of the items, condition, quantity, an optional pickup ZIP code and optional notes.

This form does not submit to a server. When you press the button, your browser assembles a text message and opens your device's messaging app with that message pre-filled. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it. If you select photos, they are used only to count how many you picked — the photos are never uploaded by this site. You attach them yourself in your messaging app.

Once you send the text, the information in it is held by us and by your mobile carrier under their own terms. We use it to evaluate your items, respond with an offer, and keep records of purchases we complete.

Information collected automatically

When advertising and analytics tags are enabled, this site may collect:

• Standard log data such as your IP address, browser, device type and referring page.
• Pages viewed and actions taken, for example starting the offer form or tapping the phone link.
• An advertising click identifier passed in the web address (for example a Google or Meta click ID), stored in your browser for up to 90 days and shortened into a reference code that is added to the text message so we can tell which advertisement produced an enquiry.

These are collected using Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta pixel. Those providers act as independent controllers of the data they receive and use it under their own privacy policies.

How the information is used

• To evaluate items and respond with an offer.
• To arrange drop-off or pickup and complete a purchase.
• To meet record-keeping obligations that apply to purchases of certain goods.
• To measure which advertisements and referral sources produce genuine enquiries.

We do not sell your contact information, and we do not send marketing messages to people who only requested an offer.

Text messages

Messages you send are answered by a person. Standard message and data rates from your carrier apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving replies from us.

Retention

Enquiries that do not lead to a purchase are kept only as long as needed to answer them. Records relating to completed purchases are kept for as long as applicable law requires us to keep them.
